Offering health and dental benefits to employees is a fantastic way to entice employees to join your company, and to help keep the ones you have. But what happens when an employee goes on disability leave?  Do you continue health and dental benefits forever? For a few years? Until the disability payments stop? There is no right answer, but it makes sense to think carefully about what happens to benefits when an employee goes on disability, and to have a policy in place. You don’t want to be thinking about these questions when you have an employee off on disability.  This article highlights a number of scenarios to consider, and lays out a number of aspects you should include in your disability management policy.
