Marie-Pier Collin and the team at Tactik, Cabinet de Services Financiers, from Baie-Comeau in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, believe that charitable organizations can serve as the cornerstone of a community. That’s why Tactik chose to donate to United Way Centraide Haute-Côte-Nord Manicouagan. Marie-Pier Collin and the team at Tactik are the local representatives of Chambers Plan, and Johnston Group, the administrator for the Plan, was pleased to match their donation.
“Centraide is far more than a charitable organization — it’s a helping hand when life gets difficult, a source of hope for those who need it. It supports countless organizations working to improve our shared quality of life,” says the Tactik team. “This donation allows us to support causes that speak to the heart. And each one of us — whether through a parent, a friend, a neighbor or a colleague — knows someone who benefits from its support. Centraide is woven into our lives, often without us even realizing it — it’s that quiet yet vital presence that makes it a pillar of our community.”
Among the local organizations supported by Centraide are women’s centres, senior services, suicide prevention initiatives, and support resources for individuals with autism — just to name a few. Tactik is proud to continue its commitment to the community by volunteering in Centraide fundraising initiatives.
