The Business Administration Support/Document Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of booklet and contract wording. This role is critical to the success of the Client, Administration and Life and Disability teams in supporting the contract systems. This position is also responsible for various form updates.
As the successful candidate, you will handle Business Administration Support for the firm coders and processing team on complex business issues that are more infrequent in nature. You will also be a back up to the Business Technical Support role, when needed, and will assist with the development of business cases and system changes.
Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office only, with three days in office per week.
Qualifications:
- Must have comprehensive understanding of group insurance benefits, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Group Benefit Employee Booklets and/or Contracts
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with excellent grammar, punctuation, and style in written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the ability to build templates and use styles
- Attention to detail as well as strong analytic abilities are required
- Ability to learn new technology and work with proprietary computer applications as required
- Ability to adapt and generate effective solutions quickly to new situations and issues as they are presented
- Open to and accepting of feedback; willing to make changes based on feedback given
- Ability to adapt and generate effective solutions on situations/issues as they are presented
- Self-motivated
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Industry education (CEBS, LOMA, HIAA) is an asset
