Operational Excellence Facilitator

This role operates within our highly collaborative Operational Excellence team, responsible for coaching and supporting our staff through our continuous improvement journey to promote the JG of the future.

The Operational Excellence Facilitator is responsible for supporting the implementation and sustainment of the operational excellence strategy. As a champion of continuous improvement, this role will lead rapid improvement events, spread lean methodology and support the spread of the operational excellence mindset across the organization.

*Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in-office per week.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration or other related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting large-scale, cross-departmental process improvement initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Experienced facilitator with the ability to achieve workshop and meeting objectives
  • Experience leading complex initiatives and facilitating executive stakeholder sessions
  • Experience with business process mapping tools and techniques
  • Strong ability to lead by demonstrating desired values, behaviors, and work practices
  • Proficient in data analysis with strong capabilities in Excel and PowerBI
  • Experience in the group insurance industry is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with process automation tools and methods
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with employees from diverse backgrounds
