It’s not just happening in the dating world! Employers also need to up their game when it comes to attracting talent.\u00a0 These days, it’s much more of a mutual interview process, similar to speed dating.\u00a0 There is now a need to deliver an “exceptional candidate experience that showcases the strength of their company\u2019s brand and culture”.\u00a0 If that doesn’t occur, expect to see a lot of desirable candidates accept job offers elsewhere, often with the competition.<\/p>\n

Candidate ghosting on the rise for Canadian HR leaders<\/a><\/h4>\n

But what’s causing this increase in ghosting? Well, according to the research, it all comes down to job spec confusions. Forty-three percent of candidates said that the job was simply not what they expected, 31% labelled the interview process as ‘poor’, 18% had a better offer, and eight percent said they weren’t onboard with the company’s ‘return to office’ policy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
